Vuelven The Bangles

El cuarteto vuelve en forma de trío y con nuevo disco, "Sweetheart Of The Sun"

The Bangles es un grupo femenino surgido en los 80 y reconocido sobre todo por dos temas, 'Walk Like An Egyptian' y la balada 'Eternal Flame'.

Ahora vuelven tres de ellas, Susanna Hoffs y las hermanas Vicki y Debbi Peterson, tres de sus cuatro componentes, y lo hacen con su quinto disco, "Sweetheart Of The Sun", después de una década.

Model Music, el sello que lo publicará, ha dicho: "El álbum cuenta con la incorporación de la inventiva de grupos de folk-rock de los años 60, las soleadas armonías del sur de California y la divinidad de los Beatles/Byrds/Beach Boys/Big Star".

The Bangles se formaron en Los Ángeles en 1982, pero las tensiones internas terminaron con la banda en 1989 y Hoffs lanzó su carrera en solitario publicando un par de discos.

En 1999 las cuatro componentes originales se reunieron para grabar una canción para la banda sonora de "Austin Powers, la espía que me achuchó", y en 2003 publicaron el disco "Doll Revolution".
