Estreno: Nelly Furtado - Spirit Indestructible (videoclip oficial)
La cantante canadiense Nelly Furtado, acaba de estrenar el video musical de su nuevo single Spirit Indestructible, canción que da título a su quinto álbum de estudio.
El tema, que se lanza como segundo sencillo luego de Big Hoops (Bigger The Better), es parte del álbum The Spirit Indestructible, el cual cuenta con las colaboraciones de Rodney Jerkins (Michael Jackson, Lady Gaga), Bob Rock (Metallica) y John Shanks (Take That, Michelle Branch), produciendo un disco con sonidos más electrónicos.
El video musical fue producido por Rodney “Darckchild” Jerkins, y grabado en una montaña de Vancouver, Canadá. En él se puede ver a Nelly despertando las fuerzas de la naturaleza en conjunto con su indestructible poder interior.

Estreno: Nelly Furtado - Big Hoops (Bigger the Better) (videoclip oficial)
Nelly Furtado regresará el próximo 19 de junio con un esperado álbum de estudio, titulado ‘The Spirit Indestructible‘.La cantante ha trabajado en este disco con productores tan diferentes entre sí como The Neptunes, Timbaland, Ryan Tedder, Rodney Jerkins o Tiësto con el fin de crear un álbum variado que refleje la evolución de su sonido a lo largo de su carrera musical.
‘Big Hoops (Bigger the Better)‘ es el título de este esperado single que ha sido producido por Darkchild.

Nelly Furtado regresa con "The Spirit Indestructible”
La canadiense Nelly Furtado presentará su quinto disco de estudio, The Spirit Indestructible, en el festival musical Isle of MTV 2012, que este canal celebrará el 26 de junio en Malta, con la participación de otras estrellas como Flo Rida, Cassie y will.i.am, de Black Eyed Peas."Estoy deseando ir a Malta y actuar para MTV. Es el año de The Spirit Indestructible y estoy segura de que va a ser algo serio", afirma la artista, en declaraciones difundidas hoy por la célebre cadena de televisión ante este evento, que podría reunir a unas 50 mil personas.
La plaza de Il Fossos de Malta es el emplazamiento escogido para Isle of MTV 2012 que, al igual que en anteriores ediciones, será emitido a partir del 1 de agosto dentro del programa World Stage Music, a través de los 63 canales de los que dispone MTV en 153 territorios del mundo.
Furtado, canadiense con orígenes portugueses, inició su carrera en 2002 con Whoa, Nelly, distinguido con un premio Grammy por el single I'm Like a Bird. Tras Loose (2006), uno de sus más celebrados álbumes, con éxitos como Maneater y Say it Right, publicó un disco en castellano, Mi plan (2009), el último hasta el momento.
The Spirit Indestructible será publicado el próximo 19 de junio, pero ya puede ser adquirido en plataformas digitales su primer sencillo, Big Hoops.
La otra gran novedad conocida hoy es la incorporación al cartel del rapero estadunidense Flo Rida, quien obtuvo fama gracias a hits discotequeros como Right Round o Club Can't Handle Me, en compañía de David Guetta.
Su música se encuentra de plena vigencia en la actualidad gracias a un nuevo éxito, Good Feeling, incluido en su último disco, Only One Flo (Part 2) (2011).

Nuevo disco de Nelly Furtado para verano 2012
El disco se ha retrasado mucho, ya que su publicación se esperaba para finales de 2010La cantante Nelly Furtado ha usado su cuenta de Twitter para dar a conocer la fecha de salida de su último trabajo "Lifestyle". La artista no sólo ha confirmado que el álbum saldrá el verano que viene, sino que además ha explicado que la promoción de éste durará dos años.
"Es oficial: el disco sale en verano :) ¡Y estaré promocionándolo durante al menos dos años porque me encanta", ha anunciado Nelly.
El portal de Internet NellyFurtadoDaily ha especulado con algunos de los temas que podrían estar en el disco, como 'Melting My Heart Right Now' con The Kenyan Boys Choir, 'The Edge' con Michael Angelakos, 'Elin's Song', 'Believers' o 'Nothing' con Salaam Remi.
Este disco será su primer trabajo en inglés desde hace más de cinco años. En el año 2009, la artista lanzó "Mi plan", un disco lleno de éxitos.
Para el verano de 2012 todavía quedan unos cuantos meses, pero esperamos que ésta sea la fecha definitiva del lanzamiento.
