Gary Moore murió de un ataque al corazón

La autopsia practicada al cadáver del guitarrista de rock británico Gary Moore, que falleció el domingo en un hotel de Estepona (Málaga) a los 58 años, revela que su muerte se produjo por causas naturales, más concretamente de un ataque al corazón.

Aunque aún está pendiente el resultado de los análisis químicos toxicológicos, ya se ha comenzado a descartar dicha causa mortal. Por el momento no se conocen más datos y se espera que en las próximas horas un juez autorice el traslado del guitarrista, natural de Belfast.

Muere Gary Moore

El guitarrista de rock británico Gary Moore, de 58 años, ha sido hallado muerto en la habitación de un hotel de la Costa del Sol, en España. Moore, que antes de emprender su carrera como solista formó parte de los Thin Lizzy, falleció a primeras horas del domingo, según el mánager de este grupo, Adam Parsons. El guitarrista realizó una gira por Rusia y Extremo Oriente en el 2010 y preparaba varias actuaciones para este verano junto a una nueva banda.

Moore, nacido en Belfast (Irlanda del Norte), fue reclutado para la legendaria banda norirlandesa Thin Lizzy por su cantante, Phil Lynott, y antes había formado parte de Skid Row. Uno de los miembros de Thin Lizzy, Brian Downey, se ha confesado "conmocionado por su muerte".
"Siempre estará en mis pensamientos y plegarias, no puedo creer que haya muerto", ha declarado.

El cuerpo no presenta signos de violencia en una primera inspección, según han informado a Efe fuentes de la Subdelegación del Gobierno en Málaga. Las mismas fuentes han añadido que no se va a abrir ningún tipo de investigación por la muerte del músico, salvo que de la autopsia se desprendan motivos para hacerlo, aunque han insistido en que en una primera inspección del cadáver no se aprecian signos de violencia.
